How many worlds are in Mochi Run?
Eight hand-illustrated worlds: Petal Springs, Gemstone Grotto, Marshmallow Snow, Sugarcloud Castle, Bubble Bay, Pumpkin Pond, Ember Hollow, and Starlight Grove. Clearing a world unlocks the next one on the map.
How do you jump higher in Mochi Run?
Jump height is fixed - the trick is the jump buffer. Tap jump a split second before Mochi lands and the next hop fires instantly on touchdown, chaining jumps up platforms without a dropped input.
What do coins and hearts do in Mochi Run?
Coins add to your score (special gems and stars are worth 3), and every 50 points earns you a bonus heart, up to a maximum of five. Hearts are your health - lose them all and the run is over.
Is Mochi Run an auto-runner?
No - Mochi only moves when you press left or right. You control the pace completely: stop, back up, line up a jump, or detour for coins on your own timing.
What is a mochi, anyway?
Mochi is a soft, chewy Japanese rice cake made from pounded glutinous rice - and its round, squishy shape is exactly why it became one of kawaii culture's favorite character designs.
Is Mochi Run good for kids?
Mochi Run is rated 9+ (infrequent, mild cartoon violence - think bouncing on a caterpillar). The controls are three buttons, there's no chat, no account, and it's single-player and offline.
Is Mochi Run a relaxing game?
That's the design goal: soft watercolor worlds, no timers, and runs you take at your own pace. You can replay any unlocked world from the map whenever you want a calm five minutes.
